The Quantum Harvest Event is OverKnights’ second Play-to-Airdrop campaign, where players can compete, complete quests, and refer friends to earn NFT rewards and tokens ahead of the game’s token launch. By playing multiplayer matches, players earn Quantum Caches containing Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals, which can later be redeemed for $OVC tokens.

Owning a Pilot Badge boosts rewards, grants eligibility for the $IMX prize pool, and can even be rented to other players. Genesis Pilot NFT owners receive multipliers on loot and unlock special bonus quests. The event also features daily and weekly leaderboards, referral rewards, and a dynamic $IMX reward pool that grows as more Pilot Badges are purchased — creating multiple ways for players to earn, trade, and compete for top-tier rewards.

New OverKnight: Specter

With the help of their drone, the Specter will help you stall your opponent until you have the resources to unleash such a powerful ranged attack, they will have no choice but to defend. To do so, buy yourself time by using your Active abilities, while you gather as many Shield cards as you want in hand to use the Chest, and trigger your Passive abilities to get those Shields back.

Updated Environment: First Floor Arena

Updated environment art of the battle to illustrate first floor of the Libra Tower, a futuristic arena stage in OverKnights. The level blends 2D and 3D assets with parallax layering to create a modular “crystalscape.”

Updated Player Validation

We’ve refined the player validation and surrender timeout system to make matchmaking fairer and more resistant to bot behavior. The new system now dynamically calculates surrender penalties using a configurable formula based on your recent surrender history. Timeout duration increases according to how many times you’ve surrendered within a defined number of past battles.

Additionally, timeouts are now only applied when all specific conditions are met — including surrendering or quitting in a matchmade battle, with short match duration, and consecutive surrenders — ensuring legitimate matches aren’t unfairly penalized.

Server Bots

Server Bots is a new feature where your first few Anima Duels are against bots until you get enough wins to be verified, so be sure and get wins right away.

Card UI Revamp + Terminology Review

One of the focuses of this update is bringing clarity and consistency to how information is presented across the game. Our goal is to make every term, keyword, and description instantly understandable, so players can focus on strategy.

• Complete revamp of the Card Frame UI, improving readability and emphasizing key visual elements.
• Unified terminology across all cards, parts, and components to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Expanded card description area, making it easier to read all essential information at a glance (with detailed info still accessible via right-click).
• Hover-over tooltips for components at the side of a card, letting you quickly understand what each one does while cards are in your hand.
• Interactive keywords in the text description during the match and also in the Loadout Editor. Hover to instantly see what each effect means.
• Decorators now visible on the card frame, placed above the description; hover to learn how they modify your card and gameplay.
• Rewritten Part descriptions, now featuring nested tooltips that explain any included keywords directly.

Cycle/Discard phases removal

Removal of the battle’s Cycle and Discard phases to streamline flow and improve card value dynamics.
