Quantum Harvest Event: Player Guide

OverKnights is about to launch our highly-anticipated second iteration of our Play-to-Airdrop campaigns, Quantum Harvest Event! This campaign is a way for you to compete-to-earn a share of our upcoming token. All you need to do is compete with other players within OverKnights. 

This guide will help you understand all of your opportunities to maximize your rewards. We’ve continued to refine the event and added new ways for you to get involved and earn rewards!

Referral System

You can earn rewards by simply referring friends. The more referrals you get the higher you’ll rank on the referral leaderboard. Top ten on the referral leaderboard get 2.5% of the IMX Leaderboard Pool.

How it Works

Head over the the website https://app.overknights.game/

Connect your Immutable wallet

Go to the Dashboard

Copy the Referral Code and share with your friend.

The friend enters the Referral Code at the dashboard on the website.

Once the friend is verified (3 wins), the referring player earns 1 point on the leaderboard.

Questing for Rewards!

Players can earn rewards in the Quantum Harvest Event by completing Daily Quests and Weekly Quests. Here, players will compete against one another to earn Quantum Caches and grow their share of rewards.

NOTE: These can only be completed by playing multiplayer matches (Play Anima Duel) against random players within our matchmaking system. They cannot be completed by “Spar with a Friend” or “Play Against Bots” game modes.

Daily Quest

  • Win (3) Anima Duels
    • Missing a day will cost you rewards, so make sure you play each day!

Weekly Quest

  • Win (20) Anima Duels
    • Daily Wins count towards your weekly total as well!

Rewards Daily and Weekly Quest will grant players Quantum Caches. 

  • Quest Rewards
    • Daily Quest:  1x Quantum Cache
    • Weekly Quest: 7x Quantum Caches

Each Quantum Cache has a chance to produce Fragment Shards or Rare Fragment Crystals

  • Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals are ERC-1155 NFTs
  • Rare Fragment Crystals are much more valuable and rare than Fragment Shards
  • Players can redeem Fragment Shards and/or Rare Fragment Crystals for $OVC after TGE
    • Mechanism and algorithm to be communicated closer to TGE
  • Quantum Caches will behave differently and produce different rewards depending on whether you have a Pilot Badge
    • Owning a Pilot Badge will allow you to create more Fragment Shards and have a chance of producing Rare Fragment Crystals

Pilot Badge and Benefits

Pilot Badges are purchasable for ($IMX) and are an ERC-1155 NFT. Pilot Badges previously purchased in the Season 1 Play-to-Airdrop event are no longer valid, so to gain the benefits of the Pilot Badge a new one will need to be purchased. Please note that the price of Pilot Badges increases with each purchase, so make sure to get in early for the best value.

Owning a Pilot Badge upgrades all of your Quantum Caches when opened, increasing the chance of receiving more Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals. Ownership of a Pilot Badge also makes you eligible to receive rewards from the $IMX reward pool.

Pilot Badge Rental System

Players can now purchase Pilot Badges for friends!

  • Players can buy more than one Pilot Badge, but only one can be active on their account
  • Players who own multiple Pilot Badges can “rent” their additional Pilot Badges to other players
  • The Owner (the one that purchased) retains ownership of the Pilot Badge, and can cancel the renting at any time
  • A Renter can only rent one Pilot Badge at a time
  • The Owner decides how your earned Fragment Shards or Rare Fragment Crystals rewards will be split between Renter and Owner
  • The Renter gets their Quantum Cache rewards increased as though they own the Pilot Badge
  • The Renter does not gain entry into the IMX reward pool, so if the Renter wants to get into the $IMX pool they need to purchase their own Pilot Badge

Genesis Pilot NFT Ownership Benefits

Genesis Pilot NFT Ownership bolsters the quantity of Fragment Shards or Rare Fragment Crystals received when opening a Quantum Cache by the below multipliers. When calculating your reward, your most rare NFT is the only one that applies. 

Rarity – Multiplier:

  • Common   2x
  • Rare         3x
  • Mythical    5x
  • Legendary 10x

New Bonus Quests for Genesis Pilot Owners

For owners of a Genesis Pilot NFTs, players can earn more Quantum Caches by completing certain achievements. These can be completed at most once per day, but progress can be carried over multiple days if more time is needed to complete them. Completed achievements will be refreshed once every 24 hours.

Achievement Quests

  • Do 500 Damage – Earns 3x Quantum Caches
  • Do 1,000 Damage – Earns 6x Quantum Caches
  • Power Up Shields to 500 – Earns 3x Quantum Caches
  • Power Up Shields to 1,000 – Earns 6x Quantum Caches

Supply Limitations

  • 1,000,000 Fragments
    • 800,000 Fragment Shards
    • 200,000 Rare Fragment Crystals
  • 1,000,000 $OVC Tokens available at TGE

IMX Reward Pool

The $IMX Reward Pool starts out with $5,000 USD worth of $IMX, with the reward pool increasing for every Pilot Badge purchased. The more Pilot Badges people buy, the higher the reward pool. The $IMX rewards are distributed to all holders at the end of the Season based on a leaderboard for how many Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals players hold. 

Remember, Fragment Shards and Rare Fragment Crystals are NFTs, so you can openly buy/sell/trade them. 

Daily ELO Leaderboard Rewards

Each day, the top (5) ELO Ranked players will receive Rare Fragment Crystals or Fragment Shards using the following breakdown. These distributions happen automatically.
